God Stories
Have you ever felt stirred within your soul? You wonder if it's possibly God or your lunch?
This past January, I was being stirred. God had been speaking through His Word and the Holy Spirit and stirring in my heart a desire to know Him, make Him know and to go together. On February 23, I felt a full green light. I drafted a post in a local Christian moms Facebook group I was part of. “God if you want to show me that you care about the small things right now, help me find the shovel!”

While my sister Ang was getting some much needed fresh air, 5-year-old Arie had informed her mom that her small snow shovel was still missing even after her big brother had helped with a lengthy search the day before. The recent dump of snow had buried everything left out in the yard, making the search very unfruitful.
Ang pushed through her weariness, marked out a perimeter and started the search with the girls.
It was the Tuesday before Christmas, and normally a missing shovel would be no big deal, but it wasn’t a normal Tuesday.
It was the Tuesday after the Sunday she was blindsided by a phone call delivering the news that her husband Jordan had tested positive for COVID-19.
